The Proposed $SPAWN Capital Layer
The narrow near-term role proposed for $SPAWN, separated from undeployed future uses.
Working utility definition
$SPAWN is an existing Robinhood Chain token. The v2 protocol integrations described below are not inherent properties of that token and are not live until production contracts are published and verified.
The near-term design is intentionally narrow:
- Published World-creation requirement — a production interface may require a disclosed amount of
$SPAWNto create an eligible World. No amount is authoritative until the responsible contract and interface are verified. - Optional competitive collateral — only for a Season whose vault, settlement rule, legal posture, and risk disclosures have passed the required launch gates.
Settlement denomination, runtime-provider bonds, verifier bonds, cross-World capital, and protocol-fee routing are research directions—not current utility claims.
Internal accounting unit
If a future verified vault uses $SPAWN, its accounting may define:
1 locked SPAWN = 1 Spawn Unit (SU) of economic exposure.
SU has no universal in-World physical meaning. A World maps capital to its own gameplay/economic semantics.
Conservation
No World may mint $SPAWN through outcomes. Any production settlement claim must be fully backed by deposited participant capital, prefunded prize reserves, or explicit subsidies. This is a required invariant for future contracts, not evidence that such a vault is deployed.
