Fees
The fee vocabulary and disclosures required for a Spawn World.
Required disclosure
Every production fee must identify:
- the action that creates it;
- the asset charged;
- the fixed amount or formula;
- every recipient and percentage;
- when it accrues and when it can be claimed;
- who, if anyone, may change it;
- the applicable cap, delay, or governance process.
Possible fee categories
Depending on the World, disclosed fees may include launch, participation, local action, premium service, marketplace, runtime, verification, or settlement fees. Not every World needs every category.
Revenue is not volume
If eligible volume is V and the collectible fee rate is r, gross fee revenue is rV. A recipient's share applies to the eligible fee pool, not to gross trading or participation volume unless the contract explicitly charges that amount.
Routing
Eligible fees may support the Designer, Launcher, runtime, verification, protocol operations, World treasury, or liquidity venue. Production contracts—not marketing copy—determine the actual routing.
Where practical, balances should accrue for later withdrawal rather than triggering multiple external transfers on every action.
No fee schedule is final until it is published with the applicable verified contract or signed launch manifest.
